We have a small on-line store

The bookstore has its own entrance just to the left of the main San Francisco Zen Center entrance at 300 Page Street (Page/Laguna), San Francisco, and is accessible by ramp.  Directions.

We carry a wide range of Buddhist books from all the traditions. Also  zafus (meditation cushions), zabutons (mats), meditation benches, incense, CDs, malas, statues and much more. Also garden statues of Prajnaparamita, Buddha, Quan Yin, and Jizo.

This is the incense we use at Tassajara, Green Gulch and City Center. Made at Eiheiji, Japan. Comes in attractive green box marked San Francisco Zen Center.

SAMUE, BESSU, JUBANS. We stock a few items from Japan: samue (Zen monk work clothes, jacket and pants sets);  bessu (which are like tabi socks but without the split toe) and are worn by priests for ceremonies; and jubans (white shirt worn under the kimono).

TASSAJARA T-SHIRTS. Tassajara T-shirts are available from the on-line store.
